# Discover dApps

The Discover page (`/`) is Zest's home screen — a live grid of every supported protocol on Monad.

## What you see

Each protocol card shows:

* **Logo & name** with a category badge (DEX / LST / Lending / Launchpad / etc.)
* **TVL** — real-time total value locked (fetched on-chain where available)
* **24h Vol** — 24-hour trading volume
* **APY** — current yield (for staking/lending protocols)

## Filtering & sorting

Use the filter bar above the grid to:

* **Filter by category**: All / DEX / LST / Lending / Perps / Launchpad / Bridge / NFT / Tools
* **Search by name**: Type to filter in real time
* **Sort**: By TVL (default)

## Opening a protocol widget

Click any card to open the protocol's **embedded widget** — a full interaction panel that lets you swap, stake, lend, etc. without leaving Zest.

Protocols that link out (Bridge, Crystal, Merkl) open a dedicated page or external tab.

## Live block feed

The scrolling ticker at the top of the page shows live Monad blocks as they're produced — block number, finality time (\~0.5s), transaction count, and gas price.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.zest.ac/features/discover.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
