# Incentives — Merkl

[Merkl](https://merkl.xyz) is an incentive distribution protocol. Projects create reward campaigns — you earn tokens by participating in specific on-chain activities.

## What Zest shows you

The Merkl widget displays:

* **100+ live campaigns** on Monad mainnet
* Campaigns categorized as: Pool, Lend, Borrow, Hold, Drop
* APR, TVL, and daily rewards for each campaign
* Your **unclaimed rewards** if you've participated

## Claiming rewards

### Monad-native rewards (claim directly in Zest)

1. Open the Merkl widget → see the unclaimed banner (purple)
2. Click **Claim**
3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
4. Rewards arrive instantly

The claim goes through the Merkl Distributor contract on Monad: `0x3Ef3D8bA38EBe18DB133cEc108f4D14CE00Dd9Ae`

### Cross-chain rewards

If rewards are distributed on another chain (e.g. Base), click **Claim ↗** to be redirected to [app.merkl.xyz](https://app.merkl.xyz) where you claim on the appropriate chain.

## How to earn Merkl rewards

1. Open the Merkl widget on Zest
2. Browse campaigns — filter by Pool / Lend / Borrow
3. Click any row to go to the protocol deposit page
4. Deposit → start earning rewards automatically
5. Come back to Zest to claim once rewards accumulate

Most Merkl campaigns on Monad distribute rewards in **WMON** (Wrapped MON). Check each campaign for the specific reward token.
